BYJU’S – The Learning App: It is the popularized brand name for Think and Learn Private Ltd., a Bengaluru-based Educational technology, and online tutoring/teaching company that has recently received a large-scale attention from students across India and attracted investors from all over the globe. The firm, whose latest round was co-led by the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative and Sequoia Capital, transitioned from a classroom model to a smartphone-based education company by launching it’s “Learning App” last year. The team of BYJUS has people for animation, content creation and music who has one simple aim, “to work in sync and make the thing easy to understand.”
“We are experimenting with emerging technologies such as augmented and virtual reality. If you think it is all about the app and become complacent, then you will be left behind. We keep a keen eye on all new and emerging technologies,” Byju Raveendran said.
“We go by analogies for a lot of concepts. The concept team brainstorms for each idea. We do a lot of lab testing,” said Divya Gokulnath, director, Byju’s. “Content is divided based on the subject as well as grades of learning. For lower grades, we try to make it fun which will be driven by the subject and for higher grades, it is focused on conceptual clarity, tips and how to crack examinations.”

“The entire chapter is broken into parts and is visualized. Second by second planning is done to make the thing simple to the fullest.
